Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272,273,34 of I.P.C and 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Huge quantity of liquor was allegedly recovered from the court-yard of co-accused-Pitambar Singh. Petitioner was also there, hence, he was apprehended. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent.

Submission is that petitioner is relative of Pitambar Singh and for that he had visited the house of Pitambar Singh. Petitioner is in custody since 26.01.2020. There is no material to substantiate that petitioner is going to tamper with the evidence or hamper the trial.

No.14752 of 2020(2) dt.03-03-2020 2/2 Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail after completion of investigation on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Turkauliya P.S.Case No.66 of 2020, subject to the condition that both bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court below and further the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
