JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 02-09-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State. Despite entering appearance, no one appears for the opposite party No. 2 to oppose the prayer.

The petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 756C of 2017 for offences under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is husband. He has no criminal antecedent. There is allegation of demand of dowry and dowry related events. The petitioner is ready to keep his wife with full dignity and honour.

Let the petitioner, above-named, in the event of arrest or surrender within one month from today, shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of SDJM, Jamui in connection with Complaint Case No. 756C/2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
