The instant application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Sugauli P.S Case No. 151 of 2022 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 8/20(b)(ii)(c) of the NDPS Act.

Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 20.06.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 67297 of 2022.

In compliance of the order dated 13.03.2024, a status report has been received dated 19.03.2023 by which it appears that trial will be concluded within a period of four months. No fresh ground is made out for reconsideration of the regular bail application of the petitioner, as such, his prayer

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19809 of 2024(3) dt.28-06-2024 2/2 is rejected.

Accordingly, the application stands disposed off. The trial Court is directed to conclude the trial within the stipulated period of time i.e., four months positively as mentioned in its report failing which the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.
