JUSTICE RAJAN GUPTA) 22-04-2022 The grievance of the petitioner is that he received a notice under section 7 of the Bihar & Orissa Public Demand Recovery Act, 1914 (hereinafter to be referred to as "the Act, 1914" from Respondent No.2 on 23.06.2021 for making payment of Rs. 582513/-. According to him, the petitioner has got no opportunity till now to file objection under Section 9 of the Act, 1914.

We, thus, dispose of the present writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to file objection under Section 9 of the Act, 1914 within two weeks from today and in case he does so,

Patna High Court CWJC No.4658 of 2022(2) dt.22-04-2022 2/2 the same shall be considered and decided by the Certificate Officer in terms of Section 10 of the Act, 1914, at the earliest. Till then, no coercive action shall be taken against the petitioner.
