The petitioners are apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 384 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
A complaint was made by Auto Rickshaw Association, Purnea to the Superintendent of Police, Purnea to the effect that certain persons are realizing extortion from the auto rickshaw drivers. During raid, on spot one Md. Navi Hassain was apprehended realizing Rs.250/- from a auto rickshaw driver, who suggested the name of the petitioner.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.25345 of 2015 (2) dt.10-07-2015 2/2 only confessional statement of apprehended co-accused there is nothing against the petitioner. A statement has been made in paragraph 3 of the petition that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioners be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of 12 weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of `10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in connection with K. Hat P.S. Case No.249 of 2015, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. (Dinesh Kumar Singh, J) Ashwini/- U T
