2. This application, for grant of regular bail, arises out of Punaura Police Station Case No. 82 of 2021, for the offences punishable under Sections 399, 402 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

3. Allegation is of recovery of one pistol and three live cartridges from the possession of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner informs this Court that no substantial progress has taken place in the conduct of the trial. The petitioner has remained in custody since 20.03.2021 and similarly situated coaccused has been granted bail vide order dated 21.04.2022

5. Considering the fact that no progress has taken place in conduct of the trial and the period of custody undergone by the petitioner, let the petitioner, above-named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.Ist Sitamarhi, in connection with Punaura Police Station Case No. 82 of 2021.
