This is an application for bail in connection with Pipra Kothi P.S.Case No. 153 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Allegation against the petitioner is of committing murder of the deceased, who happened to be wife of the petitioner. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has falsely been implicated in this case and there is nothing specific against the petitioner and she has committed suicide as there was some dispute between her and mother-in-law. Further submission is that he is in custody for nine months and some of the accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.39292 of 2017 (4) dt.09-10-2017 2/2 Heard learned APP also, who has opposed the prayer for bail.

Having heard both sides and in the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

However, learned court below is directed to expedite commitment of the case and after commitment learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it within a period of nine months from the date of commitment.
