This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Mansi P.S. Case No.272 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under sections 126(2), 115(2), 303(2), 308(3), 352, 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023.

The petitioner and others are said to have assaulted the informant with different weapons. The petitioner is in custody since 10.12.2025.

In paragraph no.3 of the bail petition, it has been stated that the petitioner is accused in 13 criminal cases but, today learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is, in fact, accused in 19 criminal cases. Whereas, the learned counsel for the informant has submitted that the petitioner is accused in 22 criminal cases apart form the present one.

Considering the nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner and also his antecedents, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this bail application is rejected.
