The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Laukahi P.S. Case No.31/2017, G.R. No.257 of 2017 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 354(B), 307, 448, 379, 436, 337 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant named the petitioner and other accused persons and alleged that they all came to the house of the informant and assaulted the informant and his family members. The accused persons also damaged the house hold articles of the informant and set the house of the informant ablaze. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is a counter version being Laukahi P.S. Case No.32/2017. The petitioner is alleged to have assaulted Shiv Shankar Yadav. Shiv

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.35190 of 2018 (2) dt.04-07-2018 2/2 Shankar Yadav got simple injury. It appears that the petitioner and other accused persons having armed with different weapons came to the house of informant and ransacked the entire house after taking house hold articles of the informant. The accused persons also set the house of the informant ablazed. Anticipatory bail petition of Ram Prasad Yadav and others have already been rejected.

Having considered the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected in Laukahi P.S. Case No.31/2017, G.R. No.257 of 2017, pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Jhanjharpur, Madhubani.
