The grievance(s), which the petitioners are raising in this writ application is that their lands appertaining to Khata No. 114, Khesra No. 2992, area 10 1⁄2 decimal (eastern part of the plot), and 3.206 decimal (northern part of the plot) near Shahpur Chowk in Nawada district, have been acquired, without adopting any process of acquisition and their raiyati lands are being used by the State-respondents for the purpose of widening of the road.

In my view, the petitioners have statutory remedy under the Bihar Right to Public Grievance Redressal Act, 2015

Patna High Court CWJC No.8875 of 2016(2) dt.25-02-2019 2/2 (hereinafter to be referred to as 'the Act'), by making an appropriate application before the District Public Grievance Redressal Officer.

This writ application is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioners to apply before the District Public Grievance Redressal Officer, raising the grievance(s) which they are raising in the present writ application. If they do so, the District Public Grievance Recessional Officer shall be obliged to consider and dispose of the same within the statutory period, as prescribed under the Act.
