2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Majhauliya P.S. Case No. 656 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 115(2), 118(2), 109, 303(2), 126(2), 351, 352, 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner has assaulted the victim with knife. The injuries have been found on the victim is simple in nature.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. The petitioner is in custody since 27.12.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16708 of 2025(5) dt.23-07-2025 2/2 for bail.

6. Since the petitioner has stabbed the victim, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is hereby rejected.

8. If the trial is delayed by the prosecution, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
