Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8, 20(b)(ii)(B) and 22 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. About 1kg of ganja was allegedly recovered from possession of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 17.12.2018. Investigation of the case is already complete. Submission is that petitioner is accused in a case registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016, however, in that case, name of the petitioner surfaced in the confessional statement of co-accused. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.17126 of 2019(2) dt.01-05-2019 2/2 Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 36 of 2018 arising out of Barauni Police Station Case No. 601 of 2018, with the following conditions:

(a) Both the bailors shall be the resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned court-below having immovable property.
