1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1(i) A writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the Letter No. 3898 dated 10.12.2020 issued by the Superintendent of Police, Purnea (Respondent No. 3) whereby and where under for feature of twelve month salary increment, which is equivalent to two black/dark spot, has been done against the petitioner, which will impact on the future pay scale of petitioner. (ii) A writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to give direction to respondents to not cut any salary increment, pay scale, etc. of petitioner arising out of Letter

Patna High Court CWJC No.4657 of 2022(2) dt.09-11-2023 2/2 No. 3898 dated 10.12.2020.

(iii) A writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to discharge this petitioner from all charges, if any, against this petitioner.

(iv) A writ in nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to give all consequential benefit and compensation to petitioner."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to challenge the order dated 10.12.2020, passed by the Superintendent of Police, Purnea by filing appropriate appeal. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. It is needless to state that in case appropriate appeal is filed, by the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from today, the same shall be considered by the appellate authority on merits, without being impeded by the issue of limitation and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed, theron, in accordance with law, forthwith.

4. The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
