The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 302, 120B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.
As per the prosecution case, on receiving information that her son was found hanging from the tree, the informant raises suspicion that he had been killed. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. His name transpired in course of investigation on the confessional statement of the F.I.R. named accused Dhumma Baski who has himself been enlarged on bail vide order dated 5.3.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. no.74339 of 2018. Besides coaccused Anil Basra and Som Besra
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26720 of 2021(3) dt.05-01-2022 2/2 have also enlarged on bail, orders of which have been brought on record as annexures to the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 7.9.2020 and has no criminal antecedent. Chargesheet has been submitted in the case.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case, grant of bail to the accused Dhumma Baski on whose confessional statement the name of the petitioner transpired, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Jokihat P.S. Case no. 186 of 2019 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria.
