2. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that payments have been made. However, he prays for award of interest.

3. In the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner having superannuated in February, 2015 and payments having been made to him by now, the Court is not inclined to award interest.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed off.

5. However, if the petitioner feels that proper accounting has not been done with regard to payment of statutory interest on G.P.F., he will be at liberty to file a representation before the respondent no. 7 within one month from today, along with a copy of this order. If the same is done, the respondent no. 7 shall look into the matter and pass a reasoned order within three weeks from the date of filing of such representation. If it is found that the petitioner is required to be paid any further amount, the same shall also be paid to him within the next three weeks.
