The petitioner prays for grant of bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 363, 376, 504, 506, 326/34 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 4/6 of POCSO Act.

As per prosecution case, Sonu Kumar caught hold of minor daughter of the informant and committed rape upon her and when the parents of victim went to complain about the occurrence this petitioner assaulted them.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that petitioner is father of the said Sonu Kumar and the victim girl has not taken name of the petitioner in her 164 statement. Petitioner is in custody since 22.01.2022. .

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail.
