JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 04-03-2020 The petitioner, who is in custody since 21.01.2020, seeks bail in connection with Sirdalla Police Station Case No. 18 of 2020, dated 20.01.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 307, 337, 338 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 37(b)(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. The allegation against the petitioner is of having hit the informant by means of a stone while he was drunk. The other case which has been lodged against him and about which reference has been made in paragraph 3 of the bail petition has also been filed at the instance of the present informant in which the petitioner has been granted bail.

Regard being had to the nature of accusation

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14234 of 2020(2) dt.04-03-2020 2/2 against the petitioner and the period of custody, he is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional District Judge II-cum-Special Judge Excise Act, Nawada in connection with Sirdalla Police Station Case No. 18 of 2020.

The application stands allowed.
