JUSTICE DINESH KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 01-07-2016 The present application has been filed for quashing of the First Information Report in connection with Rampur P.S. Case No. 194 of 2010, registered under Sections 498A of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that informant herself deserted the petitioner and neither appear in the Court nor respond to the legal notice nor appear before the learned court below, when in pursuance to the provisional order granted to the petitioner. The investigation has still not concluded. This Court is not inclined to interfere at this stage.

The application is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to raise all the contentions at the time of submission of Final Report under Section 173 (2) Cr.P.C.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.19664 of 2016 (2) dt.01-07-2016 It is expected from the Senior Superintendent of Police, Gaya to see how the investigation is still pending since last six years and got the investigation concluded expeditiously.
