Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 20(b) (ii-c), 22(c), 23(c) of the N.D.P.S. Act.
Allegation against the petitioner is recovery of 1 k.g. Charas from his possession.
It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner is in custody since 31.07.2019.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that there is recovery of 1 k.g. of Charas from the possession of the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected at this stage.
