Petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Sikta P.S. Case No. 118 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 379, 406, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the entire allegation clusters around the money transaction as according to the informant when he went to demand his money of Rs.1,25,000/- which was allegedly taken by this petitioner, he was assaulted. Learned counsel submits that it is a case of false prosecution. The petitioner is said to be a person of having clean antecedent.

Learned APP for the State is present and has opposed

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case whereunder the entire allegations are with regard to money transaction and the allegation of assault is not substantiated by any injury, in case of arrest or surrender of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from today, the abovenamed petitioner shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.15,000/- (rupees fifteen thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfication of the learned S.D.J.M., Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Sikta P.S. Case No. 118 of 2018, subject to the condition that petitioner shall join the investigation by reporting to the Investigating Officer within a period of two weeks from today and shall cooperate in course of investigation. This will be in addition to condition prescribed under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
