Petitioners seek bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 341, 342, 307, 384, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of Prevention of Witch (Daain) Practices, Act, 2007. There is general and omnibus allegation of commission of assault against eighteen persons, including the petitioners. The petitioners are in custody since 17.01.2018. Considering the general and omnibus nature of allegation, let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand)
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.37611 of 2018 (2) dt.06-07-2018 2/2 each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Raniganj Police Station Case No.394 of 2017, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be resident of within the territorial jurisdiction of the court below and the petitioners shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bonds of the petitioners.
