In spite of the fact that they are statutorily bound to provide the said information to the petitioners in a time bound manner.

(ii) For issuance of a writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ / writs, order / orders, direction / directions commanding the concerned respondents especially respondents no. 8 & 9 to effectively ensure that the information under the Right to Information Act, 2005 be provided to the petitioners against their applications as they are entitled to have such information under the Right to Information Act, 2005 in statutory time period in view of the fact that the respondents no. 8 & 9 mechanically disposed off the Appeal made before them, raises technical objection after long time, not taking punitive actions against the guilty Public Information Officers and even not providing informations against application made under the

(iii) For fixing appropriate / adequate liabilities on the guilty Respondents, who deliberately failed to perform their statutory duties under the Right to Information Act, 2005 and are continuously making attempt to scrap the very noble objective of the Right to Information Act, 2005 especially in case of the Petitioners."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks a direction upon the Bihar State Information Commission to expedite the proceedings of the pending second appeals, filed by the petitioners. It is directed accordingly. 3.

The writ petition stands disposed off.
