JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 19-08-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner, in the present case, is seeking regular bail in Baruraj P.S. Case No. 66/2016 registered under Sections 304(B), 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The marriage in the present case is of the year 2009, however, the death has taken place within a period of seven years, the allegation is that there was a demand of dowry. The sister of the informant was killed because the informant was unable to meet the demand. It is further alleged that the dead body was also cremated after killing. The petitioner is the husband and the death has taken place in his house, he is unable to explain the circumstances under which the death has taken place to the satisfaction of this Court for purpose of bail.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.38438 of 2017 (2) dt.19-08-2017 2/2 In the circumstances stated above, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner in the above mentioned case. The application stands dismissed.
