The present application has been filed for directing the investigating officer to conduct inquiry properly in respect of Sikandara P.S. Case No. 218 of 2019.

Counsel for the State submits that this case may be disposed off in the light of the order passed in Cr.W.J.C. No. 153 of 2017 (Surendra Singh Vrs. State of Bihar & Ors.) and analogous cases decided on 09.09.2022.

In this view of the matter, this writ application is disposed off with liberty to the petitioner to represent to the

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.253 of 2020(2) dt.20-03-2023 2/2 Superintendent of Police, Jamui, (respondent no. 3) in the light of the order passed in Cr.W.J.C. No. 153 of 2017 (Surendra Singh Vrs. State of Bihar & Ors.) and analogous cases decided on 09.09.2022 within four weeks from today and the Superintendent of Police shall consider the representation and take appropriate action.
