The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 353, 504 & 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. Name of the petitioner transpired during course of investigation. It appears from the prosecution case that several named and unnamed persons managed to take away a detainee from the custody of police. Similarly situated co-accused Ajit Kumar has been granted bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court, vide order dated 16.04.2021 passed in Cr.Misc. No. 38549 of 2020 (Annexure 2 to the petition).

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.
