The petitioner, apprehending his arrest in connection with K. Nagar (Champanagar) P.S. Case No. 548 of 2013 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code, seeks the privilege of pre-arrest bail. From perusal of impugned order, it reveals that in course of investigation one Kumod Kumar Mehta disclosed the complicity of this petitioner as to how he has taken wine with other co-accused and this petitioner was also seen with arms adjacent to the place of occurrence and also proceeded towards the place of occurrence and further during course of investigation coaccused Maya Nand Rishi also confessed his guilt and stated the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.30821 of 2014 (2) dt.22-01-2015 name of the petitioner regarding his guilt and as such, in that view of the matter, this Court is also not inclined to grant the privilege of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner and, accordingly, such prayer stands rejected.
