Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 384, 386, 435 and 436/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is of demand of ransom from the informant who is a shopkeeper. The demand was made after refusal to pay the cost of the cold drinks consumed by the petitioner. Further allegation is of commission of arson. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent. Since price of the cold drinks was being demanded more than what was printed on the bottle only altercation had taken place.

Considering the facts aforesaid, let the petitioner,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.35504 of 2018 (2) dt.26-06-2018 2/2 above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Simultalla Police Station Case No. 15 of 2018, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
