JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 10-11-2022 Though the present writ petition has been filed for directing the District Magistrate, Jehanabad to consider the representation of the petitioner, filed on 11.12.2018, for transfer of arms license, existing at the moment, in the name of the father of the petitioner, in favour of the petitioner, however, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to file a fresh application before the District Magistrate, Jehanabad for transfer of the arms license in question, more so since the petitioner has now completed the training required for the purposes of grant of

Accordingly, the present writ petition stands disposed off with liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate application before the District Magistrate, Jehanabad for transfer of the arms license in question and in case such an application is filed within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and appropriate decision shall be taken within a period of eight weeks, thereafter.
