2. The petitioner is in custody since 29.05.2017 in connection with Bikramganj P.S. Case No. 126 of 2017 for the alleged offences under Section 366A of the Indian Penal Code.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated merely because he happens to be the younger brother of the Gautam Kumar Singh with whom there was love affair with the so-called victim girl, who have in fact solemnized marriage. Coaccused Permanand Singh who is the father of the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail by this Court in Cr. Misc. 36543 of 2017. The petitioner claims clean antecedents.

4. Learned APP assisted by learned counsel for the informant appearing suo motu submits that trial is progressing and two out of five prosecution witnesses have already been examined.

5. Having regard to the nature of accusations and gravity of the offence alleged and the fact that the victim girl has not been recovered and also the stage of the trial, this Court is not inclined to

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.36693 of 2017 (3) dt.22-09-2017 grant privilege of bail to the petitioner. The bail petition stands dismissed with the direction that the trial be expedited and concluded without undue delay and preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
