2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Awtar Nagar P.S. Case No. 224 of 2023 dated 07.08.2023 registered for the offences punishable under Section 341, 323, 307, 120B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, on 30.07.2023 at about 07:00 pm, the informant's son Sautam Kumar left his house after being called by Manoranjan Singh and Saurabh Singh to Jagriti Petrol Pump. Later on, Manoranjan Singh called the informant's brother Ranvijay Singh on his mobile and said that Sautam Kumar was found severely injured and unconscious at

Thereafter, the informant reached the place of occurrence and he saw that his son was lying unconscious in a badly injured condition at the petrol pump and blood was oozing out from his head and abdomen. The informant's son was taken to the hospital for treatment. After regaining consciousness for sometime during the treatment, Sautam Kumar told that the accused persons took him to the petrol pump and assaulted him with hammers and knives due to which he sustained injuries.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner is named by the victim as one of the assailants who jointly assaulted him. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. The petitioner has no concern with the alleged occurrence. The petitioner has three criminal antecedents in which he is on bail as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 24.11.2023.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition of the petitioner by submitted that the injured sustained grievous injury.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond

No.21865 of 2024(4) dt.13-08-2024 3/3 of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judical Magistrate, Saran at Chapra in connection with Awtar Nagar P.S. Case No. 224 of 2023, with the condition:- (i) That the petitioner is directed to remain physically present before the learned Court below on each and every date, failing which on two consecutive dates without reasonable cause, the bail bonds of the petitioner are liable to be cancelled.
