2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Athmalgola P.S. Case No. 364 of 2024 registered for offences under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
3. The recovery is of 25 liters of illicit liquor from the bag of the co-accused.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready to donate Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) in some charitable organization without accepting his guilt.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, this
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16111 of 2025(2) dt.02-04-2025 2/2 application for anticipatory bail is allowed.
6. Accordingly, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks from today in the Court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Judge, Excise, Barh/concerned Court below in connection with Athmalgola P.S. Case No. 364 of 2024 subject to condition that:- (I). The petitioner shall deposit an amount of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) in Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Machhua Toli, Patna and produce the receipt of the same before the Court below. The bail bonds of the petitioner shall be accepted only after verifying the genuineness of the receipt produced by the petitioner.
