11-07-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. This application has been filed for the grant of regular bail to the petitioner in connection with S.T. No. 115 of 2018 arising out of Jalley P.S. Case No. 44/2017 for the offences punishable under Sections 363, 366 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned 5th Additional Sessions Judge, Darbhanga.

In view of the report at Flag-'A' showing that the trial is on the verge of conclusion, this court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

Prayer for regular bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.37684 of 2018 (3) dt.11-07-2018 already been taken note of in the order dated 07.06.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 25360/2017, since the defence has already examined two witnesses and the case is fixed for further evidence on behalf of the defence, it is for the petitioner to produce the witnesses on the date fixed in the matter and ensure early conclusion of the trial. The trial court is directed not to give unnecessary adjournments and look into that the trial is concluded within a period of three months.
