The petitioners seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Chowk P. S. Case No. 97 of 2017 dated 17.04.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 34 (A), 307, 379, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

From the perusal of the F.I.R. it appears that the informant was surrounded by the petitioners and others and was also divested of her personal belongings. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15175 of 2019(2) dt.14-03-2019 2/3 that the present case is out and out a false case and has been lodged with a purpose. One of the brothers of the petitioners, namely, Sunny Kumar had, after a brief affair with the informant, married her and also lived with her for some time as man and wife. Since the marriage was not acceptable to the parents of the informant, the informant went back home and the subject F.I.R. has been lodged on the tutoring of the parents of the informant. This Court has also been made to understand that the aforesaid Sunny Kumar who is said to have the informant, has been granted anticipatory bail by a Bench of this Court vide order dated 19.04.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 23198 of 2018.

Considering the afore-stated facts, the petitioners, above-named, are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on their furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of
