Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 379/498A and other allied sections of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

As per the prosecution case, petitioner along with other family members committed torture on the informant due to non-fulfilment of dowry demand.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, denying the allegations, submits that father of the petitioner Mohan Yadav is already depositing maintenance amount of Rs.5000/- per

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16557 of 2023(2) dt.16-05-2023 2/2 month in Nazarat, Bettiah which is evident from his anticipatory bail order dated 20.2.2023 (annexure 2). Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within six weeks from today, let these petitioners, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran in Bairiya Police Station Case No. 169 of 2022, subject to the conditions laid down under section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
