For the Petitioner/s : Mr. Bipin Bihari Singh For the Respondent/s : Mr. Vijay Kr. Singh No.1, AC to SC-8 =========================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE JYOTI SARAN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 19-11-2016 Heard the parties.
The petitioner is coming to this Court after two decades of her termination. No valid explanation accompanies this writ petition. The reliance of the petitioner on the orders present at Annexures 8 and 9 also does not enure to her benefit. It is a case where the termination took place two decades back on 22.8.1986 and the petitioner has slept over her right to question her termination in the year 2014 simply on grounds that similarly placed persons have been granted relief.
The writ petition suffers from the vice of gross laches and delay and even otherwise a person sitting on the fence awaiting a favourable outcome cannot be granted indulgence after such long delay. No indulgence in the circumstances discussed, is warranted. The writ petition is dismissed.
