The petitioner, who is the mother-in-law of the deceased, seeks bail in connection with Kadwa P.S. Case No. 12/2018 dated 18.01.2018 instituted for the offence under Section 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the allegation against the petitioner is general in nature and the husband of the deceased is in custody. The petitioner, who is an aged person, has remained in jail since 19.01.2018. Even during the course of investigation, no concrete material could be collected against the petitioner.

Regard being had to the fact that the petitioner is a lady and that she has remained in custody for about six months by now,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34722 of 2018 (3) dt.06-07-2018 2/2 she is directed to be released on bail on her furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate IV, Katihar in connection with Kadwa P.S. Case No. 12/2018.
