JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 23-11-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i). For issuance of an appropriate writ(s) thereby commanding upon the respondents to grant the petitioner the benefits of 2nd and 3rd MACP which is due since 23.12.2003 to him.

(ii). For further issuance of appropriate writ(s) thereby commanding upon the respondents to pay him the arrears of salary for the period since 23.12.2003 to 2022 has not been paid to him till date.

(iii). For further directing the respondents to grant

Patna High Court CWJC No.4716 of 2022(2) dt.23-11-2023 2/2 the petitioner all the consequential benefits arising out of the 2nd and 3rd MACP.

(iv). For further relief to grant of one Thousand(Rs. 1000) extra revised scale to the Government drivers which was announced through Finance Department, Government of Bihar, Patna Sankalp sankhya 35-2वेपुभता 17/09-12418/ वव(2) dated 31.12.2009.

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that though the petitioner has already been granted the benefits of 1st and 2nd MACP, however, he is still to be granted a sum of Rs. 1,000/- on the head of extra driver allowances. 3.

The learned counsel for the Respondent-State submits that as far as the extra driver allowances to the tune of Rs. 1,000/- per month is concerned, the same would definitely be paid to the petitioner, within a period of one month from today. It is directed accordingly.
