JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 19-12-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs:- "1(i). Further for issuance of appropriate writ/order/direction in the value of mandamus to the respondents to extend the contract period of the petitioner for one year as per terms and conditions made in the appointment letter dated 14.03.2018 issued by the Chief Executive Officer, Bihar Heritage Development Society, whereby

Patna High Court CWJC No.6918 of 2022(2) dt.19-12-2023 2/3 Patna petitioner has been appointed the post of Dy. Executive Director on contract basis for one year which would be extended for one year, maximum period of three years from the date of joining of the petitioner on the said post.

(ii). Further for issuance of appropriate writ/order/direction to allow the petitioner to discharge his duty as usual.

(iii). Further for issuance of writ/order direction to make payment of house rent allowance/dearness allowance/ travelling allowance/ medical allowance to the petitioner from the date his of appointment as per decision taken by the Governing body of the society.

(iv). Further for issuance of direction to make payment of arrears of salary from the month of July 2019 to till date.

(v). Further for issuance of direction to the respondents to refund the amount to the tune of Rs. 42000/- deposited in RBI income tax department, from the salary of the petitioner, although the petitioner has already deposited tax for the year 2019-20."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Respondents authorities for redressal of his aforesaid
