1. The grievances of the petitioner are regarding nongrant of monetary benefits pertaining to 1st ACP as also nonconsideration of his case with regard to grant of 2nd MACP.
2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the respondent-State has submitted by referring to the counter affidavit, filed in the present case that the petitioner has already been granted the benefit of 1st ACP and partial monetary benefits thereof have also been granted, however, the rest of monetary benefit, arising out of the grant of the 1st ACP, shall be paid to the petitioner, forthwith.
3. As far as grant of 2nd MACP is concerned, the learned counsel for the respondent-State submits that the
Patna High Court CWJC No.4709 of 2022(2) dt.09-11-2023 2/2 same is under consideration and a decision would definitely be taken, expeditiously.
4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Magistrate, Saran at Chapra to make payment of the outstanding amount of the benefits, accrued on account of grant of 1st ACP, within a period of two weeks from today and further take a decision with regard to grant of 2nd MACP to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
5. The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
