ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 16-07-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 09.12.2017 in connection with Patliputra Sadar P.S. Case No. 414 of 2017 for the offence registered under Sections 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the first information report but subsequently, on the basis of the confessional statement made before the police by some co-accused persons, petitioner's name has surfaced in the present case, which has no evidentiary value. It is further submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.34624 of 2018 (3) dt.16-07-2018 Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate, Patna in connection with Patliputra Sadar Patna P.S. Case No. 414 of 2017.
