The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Amarpur P.S. Case No. 448 of 2019 dated 18.09.2019 instituted for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It appears from the prosecution report that 10 litres of liquor and few wherewithals for storage or perhaps manufacture of liquor was recovered from behind the house of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the recovery is not from an enclosed space and the petitioner has clean antecedents.

No.14740 of 2020(2) dt.11-06-2020 2/2 Considering the aforenoted facts, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand)/each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Banka in connection with Amarpur P.S. Case No. 448 of 2019 , subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
