The petitioner, in the present case, is seeking regular bail in connection with Hajipur Town P.S. Case No.424 of 2017, registered for offences alleged under Section 25(1-b)a, 26 of the Arms Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that allegation against the petitioner is of possessing loaded country made pistol (Katta). Regarding motorcycle the papers were produced, the petitioner is in custody since 24.06.2017, investigation is over in the present case and, in fact, three cases, which are appearing in the impugned order, are those in which
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.44598 of 2017 (2) dt.20-09-2017 petitioner has already been granted bail by the court below. Learned APP for the State opposed the prayer for bail.
Considering the facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, namely, Chetan Kumar @ Chetan Singh be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Hajipur Town P.S. Case No.424 of 2017, subject to the conditions U/S 437(3) Cr.P.C. and subject to the further condition that one of the bailors would be a family member of the petitioner having no criminal antecedent and the petitioner shall cooperate in the trial. Failure in appearance on two consecutive dates in course of trial shall lead to cancellation of bail.
