The petitioner is in custody in connection with Bahadurpur (Pator O.P.) P.S. Case No. 70 of 2018 for the offence under Sections 30(a) 32(3) and 41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 19.01.2019. He further submits that in the instant case total 174.57 litres of foreign liquor was recovered. He further submits that the recovery of liquor was made from the field of co-accused Rajesh Thakur, who managed to flee away. He submits that the co-accused Rajesh Thakur has been granted anticipatory bail by the Court below itself on 11.09.2018.
