It is contended on behalf of the petitioner that the matter of grant of arms licence upon the application having been filed by the petitioner in the year 2014 itself has remained pending till date. Accordingly, this writ application is being disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate-cum-Licensing Authority, Bhojpur, i.e., respondent no. 2, to take a decision upon the application of the petitioner on its own merit and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, if the same has already not been taken.
