Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court, vide order dated 9.11.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No.49791 of 2017.
Allegation against the petitioner and other accused persons is of assault by sharp cutting weapon.. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that up till now not a single witness has been examined. The petitioner is in custody since 1.6.2017.
Heard learned A.P.P. also.
Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, this application is dismissed with direction to the learned trial court to expedite the trial and if possible conduct it on regular basis.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
