The petitioner is languishing in custody in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 387 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

It is alleged that all the F.I.R named accused persons came and demanded ransom of Rs. Eight lakhs from the informant, opened fire and threatened to face dire consequences, in case of non-fulfillment of extortion demand.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19350 of 2023(2) dt.18-05-2023 2/2 It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case. There is land dispute between the parties. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. The petitioner is languishing in custody since 30.01.2023.

In the facts and circumstance of the case, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten Thousands) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Buxar in connection with Buxar (Muff) P.S. Case No. 277 of 2022.
