2. The petitioner has approached this Court as his candidature for being appointed as Chowkidar in place of his father on compassionate ground has not yet been considered.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that his father, who served as Chowkidar had taken voluntary retirement a

Patna High Court CWJC No.5264 of 2019 dt.08-04-2019 2/2 month prior to the scheduled date of retirement and had nominated the petitioner for being appointed in his place in accordance with the scheme for appointment of Chowkidars on compassionate ground. The respondent authorities have not decided the fate of the petitioner, despite all the papers in that regard having been processed/completed.

4. The petitioner, therefore, in the aforesaid circumstances, is directed to make a representation before the District Magistrate, Munger within a period of four weeks from today, who on receipt of such representation shall look into the matter and pass necessary orders in accordance with law within a further period of six weeks thereafter.

5. With the aforesaid direction/observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
