The petitioner seeks bail in Gopalpur P.S. Case No. 170 of 2021, registered for the offence punishable under Section 354(B) of the Indian Penal Code and sections 8, 12 of the POCSO Act.

As per the FIR, on 20.11.2021 at about 8.30 PM while the informant (minor) was returning her home, on the way, this petitioner came there, pressed her mouth and took her towards the garden and tried to outrage her modesty.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case due to political rivalry. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and he is in custody since 23.11.2021. Investigation is complete.

Case No. 170 of 2021.
