The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 216, 216(A), 225, 353, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that this petitioner alongwith his wife gave protection to an accused namely Sonu Yadav @ Dilkhush Yadav, who is wanted in several heinous offences of murder and robbery, and on getting this information, when the informant raided the house of petitioner, this petitioner alongwith Sonu Yadav fled away from the spot and wife of petitioner was arrested It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and entire prosecution case is false and concocted. Neither petitioner has got any concern with the said wanted accused Sonu Yadav nor he gave

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.16815 of 2023(4) dt.27-06-2023 2/2 shelter to him. Even at the relevant time, the petitioner was not present at the place of occurrence. Petitioner has got clean antecedent.

However, learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the bail petition and submitted that there is specific and direct allegation against this petitioner along with his wife obstructed the police team in discharge of their official duty and helped the criminal in fleeing away.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) anay/- U T
