The petitioners are apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 147,148,149,384,379 and 427 of the Indian Penal Code. The prosecution case is that the accused persons cut the crop from the land of the informant.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the land in question is recorded in the Cadastral Survey in the name of the petitioners and on false claim the present case has been lodged.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.22946 of 2016 (2) dt.23-05-2016 2/2 Considering the nature of accusation, it is a case for consideration of the prayer for regular bail of the petitioners by the learned court below in case the petitioners surrender within six weeks from today in connection with Barauni P.S. Case No. 69 of 2016 pending in the court of learned CJM, Begusarai. This application is disposed of with the aforesaid observation/direction.
